June Update 1

Thank you to those who have been linking their projects made with the June Sketch - there's still plenty of time to join in this month - don't forget that if you enter projects made with both the May and June sketches you'll get two entries to our prize  Blog Candy draw.
A quick reminder of both sketches:
June' Square Dance Sketch

May's Maypole Dancing Sketch

For this update we have fabulous ideas from Jackie and Lynda (see how she's twisted it 90deg for a completely different look) on how to use the Square Dance sketch.
Aren't they great?  If you visit our personal blogs you'll find more info about what was used on our cards.
We hope they'll inspire you to have a go for yourself - a little bird (that would be Loopylou) suggested this sketch is a fab way to use all those lovely inchies.....

Come back soon for more updates

May 2011. Maypole Dancing?

Welcome to The Sketch File for May
We're thrilled to announce that if you enter a project using either this new sketch, or the next one (that's the May or June Sketch File sketches) then you'll be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize, donated by our own lovely Jackie.  PLUS, if you enter something for both months then you double your chances of winning!
Here's what you might win:

Hopefully that will whet you appetite for joining in and crafting with us here on the Sketch File.
And, hopefully you'll feel inspired by this, the brand new sketch for May:
We don't mind what you make using it - a card, a layout, for a book cover or the top of a box - anything goes, use it for whatever way you fancy making.  But do, please come and let us know where we can see what you've made - and of course we need to know so that your name goes in our Lucky Virtual Hat for that fab prize.
Here are cards from Lynda and Jackie to start you thinking, there'll be more ideas along shortly, and hopefully some links to projects you've made so do come back and see how things are going.
Happy Crafting and Good Luck!

April Update

Here's an album made using the April sketch for the covers.  The semi-circle part of the sketch has been used to make a wrap around flap with a ribbon closure.
Hope you like it!

April 2011; Any Which Way is Up

First an apology for going AWOL but hopefully we're back now and I'll be trying heard to keep things up to date!

Here is our Sketch for April.  Feel free to turn it round, shrink it or use it whichever way round you like, and for any project you fancy - hopefully our sketches are versatile enough to use in lots of different ways, for example Jackie has used this one as a book cover.
Here are projects from Lynda and Jackie.  We'll have more to share over the coming weeks and we hope you'll join in and share your own projects too.
If you come and leave us a link, we'll come over to yours and say "hello" ;)
