August Update 1; Olympic Rings

  Hello and welcome to the first August Update
We may have waved farewell to the London Olympics, but we still have the Paralympics to look forward, and of course, there's this month's Olympic Rings Inspired sketch to get crafting with!

This week's special news is that we have a wonderful new designer on the team who will be using the sketch each month.  We hope you will love seeing the work of Victoria Jefferies on the Sketch File, you can visit her blog to get a feel for all the lovely things she makes!

Victoria, on her crafting says;
"I have been crafting 'seriously' for roughly the last year, and have grown to love stamping more than anything else. That's not to say I use stamps on absolutely everything; I also love beautiful papers for stroking and creating. I started out cardmaking but am growing to love scrapbooking too. I wanted a way of getting through some more of my stash, but it's become so much more to me now. I will happily dabble in most things, I'm not afraid to get inky, but I tend towards more clean and simple designs usually."

Here's Victoria's first project using the August sketch, isn't it cute?

Don't forget, all sorts of crafting can be linked to our blog, so just get creative with the sketch, and then come back and add your link so we can come and see what you've made

Happy Crafting!
